Voices from two transitions.

Two collections of oral history interviews recorded between 1989 and 1999. Eyewitnesses to the Velvet Revolution in Czechoslovakia and to the post-apartheid transition in South Africa — speaking in the immediate aftermath of events, before the histories had been written and the memories shaped by the telling. Audio recordings in preparation.
